Food Contamination and Control Course

This course builds on the Introductory Food Safety and Hygiene course. It is ideal for key team members that provide workplace task training, and staff that are involved in managing food safety. This course is also suitable for team leaders and supervisors who are involved in identifying potential food safety contamination, reviewing monitoring records, and acting when things go wrong.

  • Food recalls and implications for consumers and business

  • Food recall procedure

  • Four main types of food contamination that could cause illness or injury to consumers

  • Identify potential food safety contamination for your products and processing

  • Preventing food contamination and your existing food safety controls, good operating practices, supplier approval,

  • Record keeping

  • Escalation of when things go wrong and impact on your food

  • Summary of your food safety risks and controls.
